Today's Election Won't Change Anything

It's a big holiday today in the Holy Land because of the elections. It's human nature to think that once this and that happens things will get better but the truth is that today's election won't change anything.

Our egos are still growing at an accelerated pace and until we do something serious about it that will mean more war, more terror, more uncontrollable environmental issues and strange new diseases appearing out of the blue, more suicide, more murder, more divorce, more pedophiles, more abuse and all the other stuff that is pushing us to discover a single thing - how opposite we are to the force that created us.

The following is an excerpt from Kabbalist Michael Laitman's speech this weekend in Dusseldorf, Germany:

The crisis in all areas of human activity, beginning with science and all the way over to personal crises, are giving rise to the eternal question about the meaning of life and its purpose. We are becoming more and more aware of how little we know about nature, the reason for our existence, the controlling forces and goal of the universe. The troubles are leading us to accept the existence of an ancient wisdom containing the upper plan of nature. Since science is unable to answer our question, it obligates us to search for a new attitute to nature, and leads us to dig for truth in religion, faiths and mystical methods. The external crisis has led us to an internal crisis and we find ourselves humbled in this world.
