No, these aren't photos from some fabulous new broadway musical - they're actually from last weekend's 'Freedom of Choice 2005' Kabbalah Congress in Odessa. How and where this event took place is the craziest thing I ever heard - one of the guys in the Odessa group suggested a pretty unique cost-saving venue: an abandoned hotel.
I know how crazy this will sound to people outside of our kabbalah community but it's a true story. Two weeks prior to the event a bunch of students from the Odessa group took over the building that had been abandoned for two years and restored electricity, added phone lines, Internet connectivity for the live broadcasts, cleaned everything up including kitchens and rooms and halls so that the place would be in ship-shape order for the arrival of over 1,000 guests from all over the world.
Here are some very important young women from the world group. I'm not going to go into detail here - you'll have to come to our next event to find out for yourself!
And finally some credits: Thanks for getting the photos to us so quickly Christiana! (middle) And no, that's not holy kabbalah water (there no such thing!!) on the table - that's a bottle of regular mineral water.
Were Britney and Madonna on kitchen duty at this event like everyone else? Nope - they're not ready for that yet apparently - but the recent uncertainty in their lives is bound to draw them closer to the light.
